See everything in the dark

This bullet camera has a new EXIR infrared illumination technology. This night vision illumination reaches up to 30 meters from the camera. Far enough, so you can be secured that your premises are recorded 24/7. 

How EXIR illumination differs from regular previously used IR lightings? In simple terms, EXIR illuminates the whole area of its reach, not a single straight beam, which illuminates centre well, while edges seem to be darker (as per previous IRs).

In addition to this, this bullet camera is equipped with highly capable Hikvision’s own DarkFighter sensor technology. It is an industry-leading solution for ultra-low light technology. 

DarkFighter cameras typically are able to provide full colour images from as low lighting as 0.002 lux; while black and white from as low as 0.0002 lux.

Hikvision DarkFighter cameras are great for any low-light scenario.

Camera that gives you options of choice

Hikvision DS-2CD2085FWD-I F2.8 comes with F2.8mm lens, which provides an extra wide field of view of 105°. Alternative model with F4.0mm lens and 79° field of view is also available - DS-2CD2085FWD-I F4.

Smart features of the camera allows you to choose what when to start recording a video - either continuously, or from motion-detection. The former option obviously secures that nothing will go missing, while the latter allows you to save some memory storage, especially if you are recording straight to an SD memory card.

Hikvision DS-2CD2085FWD-I F2.8 has a SD memory card slot for a memory card of your choosing (supported storage is up to 128GB). This feature lets you use this camera as a stand-alone option (for example, if you only need one camera) by recording everything straight to a SD memory card and plugging-in a camera to your home Internet modem. 

Alternatively, you can plug-in your bullet camera to a network of cameras to a Network Video Recorder (NVR).

Simplicity in powering network of cameras

Hikvision DS-2CD2085FWD-I F2.8 bullet camera is powered either by 12V DC power adapter or you can power it via Power over Ethernet (PoE). The latter power supply (over PoE) is one of the most convenient ways to power your surveillance cameras. Less wires, less hassle. Just a straight forward connection.

We recommend using Hikvision PoE Network Video Recorders (NVRs), such as DS-7604NI-K1/4P; DS-7608NI-K2/8P; DS-7616-K2/16P (based on required number of cameras / channels) to have this set-up at your home, business, or around your house.

Vandal and water proof

Hikvision means business in providing quality surveillance cameras to the masses at reasonable price. So, Hikvision DS-2CD2085FWD-I F2.8 is not an exemption to this. In addition to great video image quality, this bullet camera is built in a way to withstand everything that is thrown at it. Its aluminium alloy encasing makes it true “Outdoor surveillance camera”.

It has an IP67 rating for waterproofness. Also, IK10 rating for outside forces gives it classification of “vandal proof”.

Not only rain or dust cannot do anything to your camera, but neither the vandals.

Smart analytics and features

Hikvision DS-2CD2085FWD-I F2.8 is equipped with a number of smart features. The most stand-out ones and can be used in everyday situations are motion detection and recording initiation. Also, 

• Line Crossing Detection - when somebody crosses your pre-defined virtual line; 
• Intrusion Detection - detection of entering and/or loitering in your pre-defined virtual region;
• Unattended Baggage - detect objects (such as baggage, purse, etc) that are left over in the pre-defined region.
• Object removal - detects removal of objects from pre-defined region (e.g., exhibits  on display).
